Scott Kohlhaas, the State Chairman of the Libertarian Party of Alaska and one of three Libertarian candidates for the Alaska State House is making waves in his bid for State Representative District 20, which covers northeast Anchorage. Kohlhaas faces a two-way race against long-serving Democrat Max Gruenberg, with no Republican candidate on the ballot, giving him a strong chance to win. In 2008, he garnered 20% of the vote in a similar situation, and this year he’s running a much more robust campaign.
